Coming from an extensive background in public land management, Steven spent 15 years as a Parks Land Manager with Wellington City Council and the Department of Conservation as a Recreation Advisor. He has been involved in developing the Mountain bike trail and construction guidelines with Recreation Aotearoa. Steve has his own business Paper Trails NZ, with a vision to help deliver a consistent MTB trail grading system across NZ.
He is a keen volunteer trail builder, trail building educator and works as a youth mountain bike instructor with WORD.
